Visit any library in the Bedford Public Library System from January 14th-18th to make a valentine for a soldier or sailor currently deployed overseas. Materials are provided, all you have to do is design and sign a card! Come in and make a valentine for a local serviceman!

This week’s pick is “The Golden Dream of Carlo Chuchio". Carlo has been put out on the street by his uncle and finds himself in the lowest of lows before setting out on a treasure finding expedition in the middle east. Armed with only his underpants, Carlo sets out on his journey after finding an ancient treasure map in a book. With a lazy, stubborn camel and a beautiful Kirkassi girl Carlo travels through the mysterious and sometimes unforgiving land of Keshavar. He risks his life for a treasure that may not even exist, but finds a wealth of experience and insight on the way. Will it be worth it?
