We are always looking for new titles to show on Theater Thursdays. Let us know what you want to see and what makes movies interesting for you! Whether it's anime, comedy, drama or even adventure, we'll show the movies we know you'll like. Let us know the titles you want to see and we'll do our best to show them!
This week’s pick is “The Golden Dream of Carlo Chuchio". Carlo has been put out on the street by his uncle and finds himself in the lowest of lows before setting out on a treasure finding expedition in the middle east. Armed with only his underpants, Carlo sets out on his journey after finding an ancient treasure map in a book. With a lazy, stubborn camel and a beautiful Kirkassi girl Carlo travels through the mysterious and sometimes unforgiving land of Keshavar. He risks his life for a treasure that may not even exist, but finds a wealth of experience and insight on the way. Will it be worth it?

I think that you should have another anime month.
MKS
P.S. Testing, testing....
Great Idea! We have a great collection of anime films to choose from.
I like the anime idea a lot too. I think you should also have older classic films, like the the ones that are considered in the top 100 movies ever made, the old black and white movies, etc.
I am also a fan of classics! I think they set the standard for more contemporary films. We showed "Casablanca" last Thursday. Maybe we will have an all-classics month. What are your favorite classic titles? Mel Brook's "Young Frankenstein" is probably my favorite.
Speaking of classics, don't miss out on "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" on October 11! It will be a creature feature from the 1950's. If you think "Alien" was scary, wait till you see this!
Some of my favorite classics are "Citizen Kane", "It's a wonderful Life", "Vertigo", "Metropolis", and "Singin' in the Rain". I love the original version of creature from the black lagoon!!
Those are all wonderful films. I liked "Creature From the Black Lagoon" because the storyline is so silly. Imagine finding an amphibian man in the James River!
